Apparently, I'm a millionaire.

You know, Hubs and I are pretty simple people.  When my ATM Visa arrives, I'll use only what I need, put some up for K- for college, then share the rest with everyone.  Just look!

Attention: Sir/ Madam, (Rest assured, it is Madam)

ATM PAYMENT APPROVAL FROM THE PRESIDENCY.  (Wow!)

Following the outcome of today's meeting, with president and the Nigerian financial brands the platform for the Nigeria financial services. After due vetting and evaluation of your inheritance file by the incubate President Federal Republic of Nigerian, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. (They don't know my name or gender, but they have vetted and evaluated (whatever that might mean) my inheritance file by the INCUBATE President?  Well, at least he wasn't an incumbent!)

After due verifications of your file he find out that you have been going through hard ways by paying a lot of charges to see your $27,000,000.00 Million is release, but due to on Godly people in the office you where passing much difficulties, with this effect Mr. President Federal Republic of Nigerian, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has approve to central bank to credited your fund true ATM visa card which will be delivered direct to your door house this is due to incessant fraud, financial malpractices and even terrorism, including scams.  (Did you scratch your head when reading this?  I had to read it several times.  Apparently, I'm going through hard ways to see my millions released, but due to what I presume are ungodly people and not on Godly people, the Mr. President Federal Republic of Nigerian, who just so happens to have the name of Goodluck, has decided to credit my ATM visa card, which I do not have, and deliver it right to my door house!  This way, we can skip all that fraud stuff, right?)

I wish to inform you that in line with the prevalent procedures here in the financial sector, the recalled fund 0f $27,000,000.00 Million for which you are the bonafide beneficiary can be redeemed only if you engage the services of ATM visa card which will be issued to you by central bank of Nigeria, this bank will empower sufficiently to render the services required to effectively have the ATM visa card approved, endorsed and thus released to you in your contact home address without any delay.  (Their prevalent procedures are just fantastic.  I can't believe my luck!  I'm the beneficiary, but some how they don't have my information.  Certainly, I want to empower the bank to sufficiently render the services so that I can have the ATM visa card approval.  Without delay?  Wow!)

this method has been adopted in lieu of existing and to clear to you that this is real and legitimate transaction now we have taking the legitimate power to see that you're fund will be transfer by ATM visa card. With this effect you are advice to forward to us with under listed information's to enable the bank perfect the delivery.  (I removed his e-mail address to keep people from inundating him with requests for millions.  I could tell by his fragmented writing in this last paragraph that he was writing with great speed, so that he could get this most important message to me.)
Your Full Name:

You're Contact Address: (You are contact address.  Nope, I am human.)

You're Office Address: (You are office address.  No, still not an address, though I have been addressed.)

You're Telephone Number:  (You are telephone number.  I am a number to the government, but not a phone number.)

You're Identification, which must be your Driving License or your International Passport.  (You are identification.  I have identification, but I'm not identification.  When I wake up in the morning and my hair is all over, I may be misidentified.  We curly headed gals suffer from that.)

With this information's the bank will successfully delivered your ATM VISA CARD to your doorstep.  (Well you know, that's certainly not too much to ask.)

Yours faithfully, (At least he isn't on Godly.)

Rev Mike Wilfred.  (Doesn't sound terribly Nigerian, does it?)
Personal Sectary to the President Of Federal Republic of Nigeria. (He's a sectary?  There for a minute, I confused him with a SECRETARY.  Silly me.)
If you'll excuse me, I have a door house to pretty up.  That ATM Visa card should be arriving shortly.  To speed things up, perhaps I should give him my bank account number.  I know that with a name like Goodluck, he has to be an honest man!

Smiles in my weekend:
-  We sacked out at home on the excessively rainy Saturday, read a book together and made a lovely dinner together.
Some Kind of Wonderful was on the TV Guide Channel.  I haven't seen that movie in years!  RIP John Hughes.  Hubs even sat and watched it with me.  We caught it about 1/3 of the way through, but lucky for us, they were running it again.  We didn't watch the whole movie in the traditional manner, but we did get to watch all of it.  I love, love, love 80's movies and the music that goes with.
-  We had a great day at the Carnegie Science Center.  It is like COSI on steroids.  We had a great time, the building is built with a fantastic flow, so you aren't always competing with others and don't have people plowing you over.  COSI is like a giant warehouse (Hubs' description) and it is bit and pieced.  Flow isn't good and people aren't courteous.  Since we are museum pass holders and Carnegie is a reciprocal museum, we saved the $46.00 for admission.  Hooray for museums that partner up for admission!
- We visited IKEA, where we picked up a bookshelf for K-'s bedroom. Y'all, the child has a collection of books that she loves. Each. and. every. book. We bought her this. The child had books on her desk side bookcase, on her desk, above her bed, in the cubby of her bed, on the floor in between her bed and the wall (lovingly called the ditch), in the living room, in the car and on the table. We had to absolutely deal with the problem. Look!  (Ignore the jaundiced look of her room.  I have a splitting headache and didn't feel like tweaking with the camera for the right setting.)

-  We've got the case hung for K-'s Madame Alexander dolls.  (The dolls are a family tradition for the girls in Hubs' family.)  I'm going to make an attempt at getting the dolls dusted and in the case tomorrow.

For now, I'm exhausted.  Have a wonderful day!

Sometimes you just need to weed out.

The garden? Oh, yes.

Blogroll wise? Oh, yes.

You see, every now and then I've felt the need to ditch a blog. In fact, I've just done a heavy weeding of the blogroll.

There is a particular blog, which shall remain nameless, that has been under my skin for a while. There was a post some time back that really irritated me. I found myself resisting to read updates. I dreaded to see what drivel was coming up. Today, the anonymous date that I'm writing this, was my final day. I couldn't take that blog anymore.

There's something to remember though. Blogs are online journals. If you don't agree with something that someone is writing, you can politely let them know your side. If someone doesn't agree with me, I absolutely appreciate and respect a different angle on things. I try to look at a story from both sides, but sometimes I get blinded by the passion of the story I'm telling. I've had people e-mail me and tell me that they were surprised that I published their thought because it didn't agree with mine. I don't ask you to agree with me. If you do, fantastic! If you don't, that's great, too. Just let me know in a constructive way. It's all good.

The particular blogger I'm speaking of had a life changing occurrence this past spring. It was an experience that will stay with her forever and she is just so passionate about it, that she is just blurting out everything without giving full facts to back herself up. She's become high and mighty with her opinions. She beats people upside the head with the bible. Jesus is my man. Absolutely. However, beating people in the head is not the way. You turn people off.

Again, a blog is an online journal. I ask myself, is it up to her to back herself up with facts and true information? She does have quite a large readership. Obviously, her blog has attracted readers. To spread false or incomplete information to give your story a better spin is just not cool. Does she have an informational responsibility to her readers? I mean, let's face it, she's not a journalist.

I wanted some confirmation about my thoughts. I sent the link on to my best friend to get her opinion.

Oh, it matched mine completely. In fact, she read through archives and told me things that I had sort of thought about in the past and some things were great points that hadn't occurred to me.

So, I've decided to weed through the blogroll. I weeded through the followers listing. There was one person on there that I used to talk to on a pretty frequent basis. She was having life issues, kind of hit a wall with life and was having a difficult time functioning really well. Since she had changed her blog, I had contacted her via e-mail and requested permission to read on to her other blog (as per her request), didn't hear and know that I'll just leave that one be. She can be moody and confrontational. I don't know what I would get if I would try to contact again.

I tossed one a while ago that had 2/3 of her page filled with ads and only one skinny sliver for writing. No, I'm not kidding. The blog is three columns and two were ad space. It was difficult to read and a bit money hungry on the ad aspect of things. She had just finished a book, was doing some column press for the book, but geeze o' Pete!

I admit that I once tossed a blog by a woman that really wanted to become pregnant, then when she did all she did was complain in every single post. Obviously, y'all know my pregnancy story and I just couldn't handle that one.

I've read people speak of ditching blogs for publishing a lot of reviews. I see reviews coming up more and more and have a couple to do myself. I may toss one or two in there in a month or even less. Sometimes, I was sent the product. Sometimes I purchased it myself and was fantastically thrilled with it or bummed to no end. Personally, I like people's product input. There are times it has saved me much money.

That brings me to my questions of the day. Have you tossed someone from your blogroll because you didn't agree with the content that they were writing on their blog? Has their layout bugged you to death? Has their writing bored you so much that you couldn't take it anymore?

What makes you dump a blog from your blogroll? My inquiring mind wants to know. Am I bugging you? Is there something that I do that you would love to see less of? Don't worry. I went to art school. I can take the critique. I made it through 7 years worth.

Smiles in my day:
- K- working hard to earn her TV back. She's been without for almost a month and I see that her attitude has improved nicely. She's playing with things that I haven't seen her touch in a long time. She's more creative. The TV? It will be VERY limited (an hour or less a day), so it isn't like she'll be camped out in front. We'll be issuing a TV ticket at the beginning of the week. Want to watch a movie? Okay. We're going to take that time off of the (maximum) 7 hour ticket. No time at the end of the week? No time to watch.
- Homemade macaroni and cheese, even if I over-indulged and caused myself some distress. (An church absence was called for in this case.)
- Baby tomatoes! K- is so excited!
- The final birthday party is now complete. Our weekends will be ours for a while.
- K- and E- dancing the waltz on the swing set tower yesterday. They followed that up with sitting on a towel at the end of the driveway and doing yoga. E-'s dad asked what the heck they were doing. I told him yoga and he looked at me with the weirdest look. Hey, they teach them a lot in school.
- K- has made Bendaroo knockers for each of the doors in our home. It is her hope that we will use those to announce ourselves, instead of knocking or walking in.
- I don't watch America's Got Talent, but I did watch this one small clip. Oh my gosh, I hope that these people win!

I hope that all of you had a wonderful weekend!

Brring-brrring, Google calling!

One of those things that make me laugh. Look where I've been showing up. I'm sure that I surprised a few people.

- 6 year old stomach ache on and off. If I kept my child home every single day that she said that she had a stomach ache, she would never go to school. Most of the time with K-, it is a 15 minute affair and away she goes. You should see how fast she runs into school. "LOVE YOU, MOM!" With the flash of a flying lime green flowered LL Bean back pack, she's off!

- Tercel snow. Yes, we own one. Yes, it drives well in the snow. We call it the motorized snowball.

- Where do Bailey seeds come from? Don't know.

- Lipitor husband wants a divorce. Really? My husband doesn't mind that I take Lipitor. If it keeps my heart from getting gunkified with crapola, he's good with it.

- Reed Timmer NW Ohio. Yup. He was here. Traveled here from Norman to chase the 5/7 storms. Tune in this fall to Storm Chasers to see if he saw anything. Honestly, he was right where they did have tornadoes, so I have to go with the thought that he did. Storm chasing in Ohio. Whew-whooo!

- Men toe ring. Didn't know that they made them, but remember what I've told you about foot maintenance.

- L'Oreal stem cell mascara. Really?

- Virgo weed killer, lawn booster. The Virgo weed killer? That would be vinegar.

- Discontinued Clark's flip flops. Say it ain't so! I love my Clark's flip flops!

- Dad smells from the nose. What else is he suppose to smell with?

- Bailey leaf for bad breath. They have this new gum now. It'll kill what ails you, but the taste is a little weird. I think that it might be Stride with cardamom. That would work for you.

- Digestive problems completely fixed. If that is the case, I congratulate you! Now, if you have tips for my husband, he has been suffering for more than 7 years. Oh, he's seen probably 10 doctors. Do tell.

- How do you spell agida? Um, that would be it. Check your urban dictionary. It'll take you where you need to go.

- Snow storm thank yous. For neighborly services? For the day off? For the nice plow people that eventually come to you and seal your driveway shut with road goo because there isn't any place for it to go than for it to pile a foot and a half high at the end of your driveway?

- Bailey leaf cure. I've got nothin'.

- Allergic reactions to L'Oreal Paris 24 hour boosting serum. Well, it made my eyelashes fall out, but there are plenty of people out there that absolutely love it.

- Saving an underwatered tomato plant. Well, it is very difficult to kill a tomato. Just water it. You'll probably be fine.

- How to get back my nose to smell. Hmm. A decongestant? Some saline? The neti pot that I refuse to use because it completely grosses me out?

- No red Santa. Well, I've always seen Santa as a German looking Caucasian guy. Who knows?

- Adoptive tales from the trenches blogspot. Ah, yes. That would probably be the post where I talked about dumb things that people said to us about adoption. Hurtful stuff. Things that made me want to poke people in the eyes. Yup. I remember it.

- LL Bean daily mark down Storm Chaser. I believe that is the coat that I purchased on Thanksgiving Day for $40.00. I got it for an absolute steal and it keeps me nice and toasty as I walk K- to and from school.

- Expiration cream cheese pink tinge. Um, it is supposed to be white. Please don't eat it.

Smiles in my day:
- Being able to walk K- to school today. Tuesday was the Kindergarten musical and I had to go straight to work and Monday was rain-- lots of it. We also got our "bike walk" in this evening. We talked and decided that we really missed our nightly bike walk.
- The delivery for the swing set is set for Friday while we are gone at school all day. (Me, too. I'm going to help with Field Day.) K-'s friend, B-, will be walking home with us for a play date. We're so excited for the new swing set to arrive!
- I ate the last of the sympathy food pork chops from Heather this afternoon for lunch. I believe it might be a really long time before I eat pork chops again. Good, but lots of them!

Have a great day!

Buy me!

Have you ever been suckered into one of those "seen on TV" things? The stuff sounds good, but then you get it and well, sometimes notsogood.

Our local newspaper will run trials on "seen on TV" items, but this article ran Thursday on Yahoo.

So what do I have that is a "seen on TV" thing? I do have the Ronco Food Dehydrator. I have to tell you that the sucker works. It is great! I haven't used it in quite some time, but I used to dehydrate fruit for Hubs all the time.

Mom decided to buy the Debbie Meyer Green Bags for everyone for Christmas. She apparently found them on a rockin' good deal. When we got ours (Christmas was delayed, remember!) Hubs had just bought far too many bananas. I was excited and decided to plunk our many pounds in the bags. The next night, Hubs called to me. The bananas? They looked worse than they did on the counter and they had begun to liquify. Sorry Debbie, but your green bags aren't so green. Actually, the findings from Yahoo were the same. They said that they did see green, as in mold.

I tell you, Billy Mays was quite a pitchman. I admit that he sold the repair stuff that is supposed to solidify and hold to just about anything. Wow. I still want to try that! Oh look! I found it!

We'd love to try the Worx GT.

We've kidded about this one for years. Hubs has laughed. I think he'd actually use it if we had it.

So what "seen on TV" item have you seen that you would like to try?

Smiles in my day:
- All the laundry is washed and hung to dry.
- We've rescheduled Christmas and birthday celebrations with my friend Heather tomorrow. I'll surprise her with brownies!

Have a great day!

For the record: Dear FTC, These are my own opinions and no one sent me anything to try. If I tried something, it was because I purchased it, longed for it or unfortunately received it as a part of a Christmas gift. The end.

Whatcha Googlin'?

Me! Oh, I almost always find the search results to be hilarious. What shall I share with you today? Let me read.

Organic Beetle- I believe that they are all organic, but it doesn't mean that I like them. We've battled and battled, but they've still eaten my tree. They haven't gotten it quite as bad as last year, but the sunflowers that the birds didn't eat, they did.
How plant leaf works- Photosynthesis, if memory serves.
Do green iguanas eat chives?- I'm sure that they do, but I'm not certain that you want them to. I fed ours 4 big ole cabbage leaves a week or so ago. Let's just say that if he was constip*ated, he isn't anymore.
Walmarts polly pockets- If memory serves, their selection is horrible. But, I'm guessing that this is a search from someone who lives in the south. For some reason that I do not understand, Southerners refer to Walmart as Walmarts. The sign? No 's' on the end. In NE Ohio, we've gone to Walmarts if we have gone to more than one, which I have done in one trip.
Beetle bag full in less than a day- Yes, I feel your pain. I kind of had the same thing happen, but it took us a day and a half. Might I add that dead beetles smell very, very gross.
"Black feet" barefoot kid- Yes, my child occasionally has black feet in the summer.
Free make hair stuff organizer -ribbon- I've made hair bow organizers and I had that I gave for the Bloggy Giveaway, but I'm sorry-- I'm selling them at the gallery.
Hovering cloud- Why yes, one hovers over our house on occasion. If you are asking about the hovering black cloud? Yes, we have that from time to time, too.
Questions on elmers mess free go paint- They'll answer them the second time that you e-mail them. They are so confident in their product that they will replace your defective product with the same exact thing. Ugh with that dry finger paint. Don't buy that stuff. Waste of money.
Starting collard seed in a greenhouse- Not necessary. It is a cold weather crop that will grow nicely.
Parade candy- Are you asking about rain soaked candy that has fallen into the drain groove of the roadway? The same candy that my husband eats and I don't think he recalls where it came from?
Child yells- Yes, mine will do that. Thank you for asking.
"My braces" "our anniversary"- I don't know why I came up. I had braces when I was 12 and I've been married for 12 years.
Submissive wife- I try, but seriously, I'm not a Google roll model of submissive wife.
Georges pudding skins- More people like the pudding skin episode than I thought.
How to keep hair bows from falling apart- It's hard to tell. If it is soft ribbon, you may need to give a whip-stitch to stabilize it.
Is it safer to keep kids in 5 point booster past age 8?- You need to follow the weight specification on your particular booster. Our Britax goes to 80 pounds.
Baileys life span- I'm thinking that you are asking about the life span of bay leaves and not Bailey. I'm not certain about Bay leaves. I'd have to look it up. Spices are about a year, I think.
My shower smells funny after using scrubbing bubble automatic shower cleaner- Yes, it stinks and Rachael would tell you that if you don't rinse afterwards, your shower will be "slicker than snot."
Tumor hair bow- Don't quite know what to tell you. Perhaps try Etsy.
Is pampered chef worth it- Yes.
Exposed them to chicken pox.- Personally, I don't think that it is a wise idea. I know that people used to have and probably still do have Chicken Pox Parties. K- did get Chicken Pox from the vaccine and it was really not a severely dotted case. She suffered a 104 F fever for a week, but the spots were the mildishly moderate category. My brother, however, had a school friend die of Chicken Pox related problems when he was in Kindergarten. An entire class of children had their classmate one week and gone the next. It was sad and I'll never forget it.
Leaf eating beetles plum tree- I feel your pain. I have the same problem. I don't know if you noticed, but they find the plums particularly tasty, too.

Smiles in my day:
-- Apparently a chunk of Grandma's problem is a kidney and bladder infection along with her dehydration. Appears as though Grandma will recover from her funk. She goes to rehab today.
-- We were super busy today. Seriously, people were out spending money. It poured all day long and when that happens, either we're packed or dead.
-- Speaking of pouring, though we don't have the stone for the new patio area yet, I'm glad to report that we have no puddling whatsoever and that Hubs got the slope pitch perfect!

Goofy Searches brought to you by Google

Every few months, I like to share with you the searches that have pulled my little tiny blog page up for the world to see. Oh, what have people been looking for lately? With a giggle, here's the list:

1. "Do Amish climb trees to get leafs" -- Um, I'm not certain. I think that they probably do what the rest of us do and either wait for them to fall or just reach up and grab the ones that they can reach.
2. "Genetically engineered Kentucky Wonder Pole Bean" -- I went completely heirloom and non-GMO. Cruise on over to Baker Creek Seeds for the good stuff that won't make your child grow a third eye, please.
3. "Is Claritin bad for kids" -- I suspect the adult version isn't a great idea for kids, but the Children's Claritin works great in our house.
4. "How weed killer works" -- I'm not certain exactly, but I'm certain that when you spray the vinegar on the weed, it soaks down in and the sun makes the vinegar burn the weed and root up. I could be wrong, though.
5. "Trucking accidents on HWY 80 4-29-09" -- I have no idea why I came up on this search other than 80 being the Ohio Turnpike.
6. "Virgo weed killer" -- This one made me giggle just a little. :)
7. "My child is a nudist" -- Oh, this one made me laugh, too. This went back to my second post ever on this little blog. I was talking about our tent camping vacation.
8. "All kinds of piturs of dolls and polly pockets" -- I once did a WFMW on Polly Pocket organization. I don't know that it would qualify as "all kinds of piturs" though.
9. "The Queen of Clean weed killer" -- I'm not the Queen of Clean, though I appreciate the label!
10. "Automatic shower cleaner safe for baby toys" -- NO! It's cleaner and though I realize it says it's okay to be sprayed on stuff around it, please don't let your child go gnawing on sprayed toys. Uck.
11. "Krabby batty hat from Spong Bob picturs" -- I suppose that I mentioned Sponge Bob once, but have no idea what they are talking about. Sponge Bob is Hubs' and K-'s thing.
12. "Baby Party" -- Oh, I am quite sure that they wanted ideas for planning a baby shower and not pictures of my sister's big ole creature home for Baby Pine Cone.
13. "Kentucky Wonder starting with heating pad" -- I would say not to even worry about it. They grow so fast that even if you are late planting them, they will catch up soon enough. In my zone, we can't even plant them until the end of the month. I'm always so jealous to see when plants can hit dirt for other people so much earlier than us!
14. "Po*t Leaf Pajamas." -- And I came up on this search why? Never have I ever partaken nor have I ever mentioned. I don't even have jammies with leaves on them. It's a search mystery to me.
15. "Should a robin egg float or sink if it is alive?" -- Um, I don't know. Can't you hold it up to the light to see if anyone is in there?
16. "Handcrafted hair dryer organizer." -- I don't use a hair dryer. Do you really need more than one? Ooo! But my co-worker said that she bought a new attachment for her hair dryer that twirls your hair as you dry it. It makes it look curled if it isn't and for me, oh what wonders would it do? Would it force my curls to behave?
17. "Carnival hair." -- Catch me on a humid morning and yes, I have carnival hair.
18. "Will Graco Nautilus fit in Ford Ranger?" -- Can't tell you. I can tell you that a Britax Regent will fit nicely in a 2008 RAV4 and a 1997 Tercel.
19. "Mess free + elmer" -- If you are looking to have me tell you that the mess free fingerpaint is mess free, you've got to go to another blog. I must be honest with you, it is a big fat mess.
20. "Leaf of Bailey" -- It makes me sound all regal and whatnot. (I don't know why I think that.) I'm really not, though. We also get "Bailey Leafs" or "Bailey Leaves," but we're just Bailey's Leaf.

So, I suppose that this time wasn't nearly as bizarre as last time's toe dissection search, but still a giggle to share!

Have a great day!

I Feel All Googly

Okay, I've had some odd google searches come up this month, so I figured that I would share them. Today's search leaves me shaking my head. Check out number one. Ick.

1. "How to dissect cheese in a[n] ingrown toenail." -- Okay, I'm thinking that isn't cheese in there. My guess would be that it is infection. Why did I come up on this search? I don't dissect things, let alone my toes! I did list my reason for wearing Birkenstocks was because I had ingrown nail issues in the past, but ewwww!
2. "Glad Dan's back off the wagon." -- I've gotten this search 4 or so times. I don't know who Dan is, but I think that being ON the wagon is the preferred way, yes? In a previous post, I said that I had fallen off the [line drying] wagon, but I was back on. I hope Dan is okay.
3. "PMS irrational." -- Yes, that can be me. Just ask Hubs.
4. "I really want to keep him in a 5 point harness as long as possible." -- I've gotten a lot of searches regarding car seats. I had written one in WFMW about K-'s booster. I even had a search about dogs, harness' and boosters for them. Hmm.
5. "Elmers go paint stinks." -- Yes it does, and so does my house since as I'm writing this, I have a crock pot of broccoli soup cooking.
6. "Homemade 'toilet cleaning gel' " -- I did a Bzz Agent review and I mentioned Lysol toilet cleaning gel. Those are some way industrious people to want to make their own toilet cleaning gel. I'm wondering, do they have the little flower plunger thingy or are they using something else?
7. "Cookie recipes from pioneer times." -- I don't have any of those, but if they are good pass them along!
8. "Therapeutic listening for toddler on ebay." -- I'm stumped on this one. Perhaps I need therapeutic listening.
9. "Pudding skin." -- I did a post on Jello Pudding Singles and about how we laughed at the Pudding Skin Singles Seinfeld. I've gotten a lot of people searching and picking me up on this. Either they think it is funny or they want to make pudding skin singles themselves.
10. "Bailey leaf, soup." -- Either they really intended to pick me up and make my Chicken Corn Chowder, or they want to make soup with BAY leaves. I think that many people really think that they are called Bailey Leaves.
11. "Has a shower nower so leaves mes bes." -- My guess is that English isn't the first language. I also have no idea what they wanted. Hopefully they found it.
12. "How do we know that a 40 pound 5 point harness won't hold more that 40 pounds." -- Another car seat question, but one I feel should be addressed. Please don't save money by keeping a child that is too big in a small car seat. You think that you are going well by the child, but it is rated for that specific weight for a reason. Feel free to contact the Safe Kids Coalition to find out more detailed information. This is definitely not something to save money on.
13. "Whats the big deal about polly pocket[?]" -- I'm guessing that someone without little girls asked this. Polly Pockets and all of their rubbery accessories are great fun. My daughter has always been fascinated by "tiny things" and Pollys do for her what Hot Wheels do for most boys. (Though, she does have an impressive collection of Hot Wheels, too. Thanks Grandpa.)
14. "Broom hair cut." -- I never knew anyone else gave their broom a hair cut except for me.
15. "How do I keep my shower caddy from sliding down the arm[?]" -- Though they didn't get their answer here, I can tell you that we fix everything with cable ties and duct tape. Either one should work. :)

I Was Googled and I Didn't Feel a Thing!

(Title credit to the artist who made the found object pin that we have at work. I knew that I could use that saying one day! I'm sorry, I have no idea of who the artist is right at the moment.)

My patrol runner on the blog tells me some funny things. I have people who have popped in from all over the world. Hey! I'm glad that you are here! I thought that I would share with you a few searches that made me giggle.

1. How the Amish remove blood from clothes? My WFMW post on laundry touched on removing blood from laundry, but not Amish blood!
2. Bailey Leafs -- poor person. I think that they were hunting for the spice, bay leaves.
3. Bailey's [a contest for drinking Bailey's]-- Ooo, rude awakening since we are an alcohol-free blog. I was definitely not what they wanted.
4. Vick's Cough Remedy-- I did a post on the internet Vicks cough thing on feet. Hopefully, I'm trying to save the world from slathering their children's feet in Vicks because it doesn't work.
5. Eating Snow-- I've gotten a ton of people hunting to see if eating snow is okay. I did a post on that. My findings? Inconclusive. Personally, I say no thank you.
6. "Story fell asleep snowed slid down on leaf"- Honestly, I have no idea why I came up.
7. "Place cupcake in cello bag and tie with ribbon"- I'm thinking that with the description that they put in, they pretty much have it as long as they have the cupcake, cellophane bag and ribbon.
8. "Dye lot lazy boy"- Ah yes. This would be about the couch that wanted to stay at my house forever even though it was delivered brand new, but damaged.
9. "Woman skates narrow-heel high-arch"- Other than reading about my child with freakishly difficult-to-fit feet-- narrow foot, narrow heel and high arch-- I don't think that I was of help at all. Well, maybe they felt better that there was a mommy who is running around NE Ohio trying to find decent shoes to fit AND stay on her child's feet. Maybe it made them feel better.
10. "Tercel snow"- Hubs has a Tercel and drives it in the snow. It's drives well when it has good tires on it.
11. "Collar bone big"-- Haven't a clue. My collar bone isn't big. I'm more of a petite build.
12. "Non baking cookie balls with bailey's cream"- Not me.
13. "How do you clean the newer polly pocket clothes"- I can tell you how to store them. How to clean them? Just don't get them dirty! :)
14. "Walmart fabric"- Actually, I hear that Walmart will stop selling fabric (which I believe since I saw all the fabric on clearance) but I'm more of a Joann's kind of girl.
15. "Pudding skin singles exacto knife"- Seinfeld. Who knew that other people would want to read about it, too?
16. "Doggie bag"- How did I come up?
17. "Best organizer hair bow"- Why yes, thank you! I do make the Best Hair Bow Organizers!
18. "tennis racquet"Blogroll" inurl:blogspot.com site:blogspot.com"- Other than saying that I bought K- a tennis racquet to put in her Easter basket, I really don't know why I would pop up. Oh well. Hopefully my post gave them a giggle.
19. "Is amish friendship bread safe"- Ewww. I say no, but I'm outnumbered. Plenty of people eat it all the time, live to tell the tale and say it is delicious. It just defies all laws of food keeping. I'm sorry. It is just wrong.
20. "Recipe with devils food cake, mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, brown sugar, butter"- Sounds delicious. I hope that they found it, because that recipe isn't here!

So, what is the weirdest search that has come up on your patrol?
