Tales from the Trenches: How does that stuff get in there?
My computer is flashing that I have some root kit with possible malware and RRRR! I just spent the last hour and a half running a boot time scan and deleting the win32:julkpoly bit from my computer's interiors. Avast!, you suck right now.
Do a boot-time scan. Schedule one tonight. It took two boot-time scans to run whatever it was out of the computer and I'm still going to run another scan before I go to bed.
Whatever you ditch, toss it into the chest and don't delete. That was the suggestion that I read online.
I ended up with two. And yes, Avast is up to date. It always updates everyday.

We have a Avast. I hope it takes care of it for you. That makes me nervous!
