Some people of my weekend.

My nephew, T-.  He's 5 1/2.

He's a fun little kid.  He loved to stand outside of the "blue room" and talk to my husband.  Too bad that the "blue room" is the bathroom and Hubs wasn't too happy to discuss life and issues with a 5 1/2 year old while tending to business.  He played with him afterwards, but had me scadoo him from the box.  I don't blame him.

This is my niece, M-.  She'll be 3 in a few weeks.  That child stubbed both big toes while I was there because she refuses to wear shoes.  She has a mind and she lets you know it, in a language all and of  her own.  I could only understand about 4% of what she said.  Regardless, she seemed to love me.

She kept bringing us shells she found on the beach.

K- and T- played very well together.  T- was up at 6:30 AM, eagerly awaiting K- to arrive.  Too bad we arrived at 9:45 AM.  They expected him to sleep longer than he did.

They liked to jump off the back of the boat together.  Because they were swimming in the Ohio River, I had K- wear shoes.  I didn't know if there was anything that she would step on.  T- decided to follow suit and he wore his sandals.

K- was busy trying to perfect the twirl dive.  Her form isn't that bad.

Hubs was trying to track down a zebra swallowtail.

He found one!

His only catch that day were a few branches and a rock.  He had a good time, though.
We hope that you had a good weekend, too!
